Homeschool Helpers

SAVE THE CHILDREN...

Children in schools everywhere are being exposed to ideologies and information that are incredibly harmful. More and more parents want to homeschool, but few are able to. Here's where you come in...

If we want to turn things around, we have to make sure children get the education they deserve, not the programming and indoctrination of the State. We all need to volunteer our time, skills and experience to guide the next generation.

IT TAKES A VILLAGE TO RAISE A CHILD & WE ARE THAT VILLAGE

We need to bring together parents, teachers, locations, trades, resources and skills and help those who want to homeschool their children. We hope to launch a webpage where you can volunteer in your local area. Parents will be able to search for groups and “travelling teachers” nearby.

We need to get children out in nature as well as out of the system. Let’s expose them to a more natural way of learning and living. Computer skills are important in today’s world, but time away from devices is just as vital.

Sadly, I do not have the tech skills or hosting capability to create an online searchable database.
I am actively seeking help from people & groups who do. Please bear with us, it's going to take time to set up - it's quite a tech challenge. In the meantime, there's a list at the bottom of this page of groups in the UK. If there aren't groups near you yet, take the idea and talk to people locally. Start creating homeschooling groups and resources in your area.

If you have a group and would like it added to the list, please fill in the contact form at the bottom of this page with the details.

A REAL EDUCATION...

I don't know about you, but I absolutely hated going to school. It was so boring. They didn't teach me anything that interested me. Other than reading, writing and arithmetic, very little of my expensive education was 'useful' later in life. I didn't discover I love learning until I was an adult. What an absolute waste of time and a missed opportunity...

Just imagine children having access to learn what interests them from people who are passionate about their subject. Children could learn skills that will be useful throughout their life.

You probably have a list of things you wish you'd learned at school. Together, we can make sure future generations don’t have that same list. Join us and pass your knowledge on to those who need it.

List of Homeschooling Hubs in UK

Please note: this is not a definitive list and the groups have not been checked out!

Note:
Most grassroots groups are private for safeguarding reasons. You’ll usually need to request to join via Facebook and answer a few questions to confirm you’re a genuine home educator/parent.
